Amelanchier lamarckii


Amelanchier is a plant, which grows as a tree and can reach up to about 2 -3m. This variety is fully winterhardy. Amelanchier fruits richly and is quites resistent against diseases and pest. It is a self pollinating variety.



Aronia is a bit of a forgotten, long-living fruiting plant from North America, which grows up to 2.5 m in height. It is very hardy (up to - 35 OC) and resistant to diseases, pests. Chokeberry has black fruit, a bit tart flavored, but very healthy, famous for its healing properties. Consumption of chokeberry fruit improves the functioning of the digestive system, cardiovascular system, removes harmful substances from the body, regulates blood pressure, improves metabolism and fat management.
They are suitable for preserves, tinctures, jams and juices. Chokeberry juice can be easily prepared at home. They are rich in vitamins A, E, C, P, B and carotene as well as fiber and pectin. Aronia has a great ability to adapt to various environmental conditions, it is a photophilous plant. It grows best on fertile, airy soils with a large water capacity.



"Sargentii" Japanese quince: A beautifully blooming decorative shrub, the flowers of the color of juicy orange, have been appearing since April. Healthy, shiny, dark green leaves. Numerous, hard, fragrant fruits, often used for preserves. The fruiting season is September. Very tolerant, likes sunny places, warm secluded. A low, spreading shrub with broadly spread branches, grows to a height of 60-120 cm. Spacing 50 cm, plant in the sun, no special requirements, tolerates many types of soils, though it prefers moist. It is suitable for low hedges, discounts and small gardens. For use in public green as a ground cover.

Elaeagnus angustifolia


Very frost-resistant, well-tolerating droughts, air pollution and soil salinity shrub, growing up to 8 m.
Very decorative due to silvery leaves and strongly fragrant, melliferous flowers. It is suitable for creating natural barriers, rows, planting along roads. Gives edible, stone fruits that stay on the branches for a long time. It can grow in any, even poor, sandy soil, does not require pruning.

Ficus carica


It is a big shrub or small tree, which can reach up to 2-3 m. It is a self pollinating variety, which fruits richly. Fig in polish climatic zone shouldn't be planted in the garden for the first 2 to 3 years. After 2 – 3 years the shrub can be planted into the ground, when the trunk is thick. When the plant grows already in the ground, it should be protected with the winter fibre and the roots should be covered with bark. The plant which grows in the pot should be brought into a light, cool place, with the temperature about 5'C.It blooms even before the leaves appear, in March – AprilThe fruits are very big, purple-brown with pink fruit flesh. They have characteristic flavour. The leaves are very attractive, big, slightly sunken and fray. The fruit ripen with the end of September, well fertilized can grow to a large plant.



Mulberry is a big shrub, which in full growth looks like a tree. Mulberry fruits help by slimming, they lower sugar level in blood, they are rich in vitamins.
They are rich in vitamins C, A, B1, B2, which reduce the acquisition of sugar.
We recommend both mulberry with white and black fruit.

Hippophae rhamnoides


The adult, healthy plant can grow up to from 3 to 3,5 m. Female and male seedlings are needed to produce fruit (1 male pollinates 5 female shrubs). It is also rich in trace elements and vitamins from B, K and P group, vitamin E and C, folic acid, provitamin A and D. Sea – buckthorn is one of the few plants, whose berries contain 10% of fat oil.

Ribes uva-crispa


This fruits contains impressive amount of nutritional values: vitamin A (eliminates free radicals, purify body from toxins), vitamins from P and B groups (improves metabolism), vitamin C (supports immunity). The berries also contain cellulose, iron, phosphorus, potassium and sodium. An additional advantage is their low calorific value. Fruit with a characteristic sweet and sour taste. Suitable for direct consumption as well as for preserves.It grows well in fertile soil, quite humid, slightly acid (pH 6–6,5). Sun exposure should be sunny.



Growing up to 1.5 m, not requiring special conditions, frost-resistant shrubs profusely yielding each year. You can collect 2-3 pounds of fruit from one bush.
They taste best as jams, juices and compotes. Currant berries are very healthy, rich in vitamin C, P, B vitamins, provitamin A, biotin and folic acid. In addition, they also contain mineral salts, potassium, iron, calcium, magnesium and such micronutrients as manganese, boron, iodine. Currants grow best and bear fruit in sunny positions. Shrubs planted next to each other are a beautiful, fruit hedge.

Ribes x nidigrolaria is a cross between gooseberry and blackcurrant. Frost resistant shrub with long stiff and thick shoots without spikes. Dark green leaves, like of currant leaves, but shiny and thick.
It grows strongly, grows up to 2 m. Honey plant and very resistant to diseases and pests. The fruit is suitable for direct consumption as well as for preserves, juices, tinctures, jams and jellies. The shrubs can be planted individually or as a fruiting hedge.



Strongly growing bushes with strong shoots covered with moss and, depending on the variety, with spines (eg yellow raspberry). the fruits are very tasty, sweet and healthy, rich in vitamins A, C, B2 and PP. They have antipyretic, diaphoretic and expectorant effects with cold and flu. They support the work of the digestive tract. The fruits ripen best in full sun, the soil should be quite fertile, permeable and moist with a slightly acid reaction. Raspberry requires a strong cut. In autumn, you should cut out only those on which there were fruits, but leave stems that have grown this year. It will be the next fruits on them. In addition, raspberries should be cut care during the season.

Thornfree blackberry is a long-lived fruit shrub, which became very popular in Poland. It is winter hardy and spreads easily. They bear fruit from August to October, yielding up to 15 liters of delicious fruit. The fruits ripening in full sun are very sweet, you can make homemade preserves and excellent liqueurs.

Rubus hybris


Tayberry is a cross between raspberry and blackberry. The shrub grows up to 3 – 4 m. It forms red – crimson berries. The fruit made from this cross perfectly suits juices and jellies.
Grows in the sunny position in the rotting soil in the form of a bush.

Vaccinum corymbosum


To enjoy blueberries from your own garden, just place them in a sour substrate with constant humidity, in a sunny position. If we want to collect blueberries throughout the summer, let's plant a few bushes with different ripening times. Blueberries are frost-resistant plants, which is why they will be accepted in every garden and they will repay delicious fruits.

Vaccinum macrocarpon


A creeping bush, whose fruits have a high nutritional, flavoring and healing value. Flower buds appear in July. The flowers are single, pink. The fruits are red, decorative, edible, purple-red, ripen in October, store well. They can be frozen, they are perfect for preserves and for drying. Evergreen, red and purple leaves. Plant in a sunny place, acidic soil pH 3.2-4.5, humus and damp.
